Birdee's Portrait

This experimental piece channels the electrifying rise of Australian music icon Birdee. Her silhouette was scored and masked against a vivid yellow background, allowing her portrait to emerge. The reveal came only after peeling away the taped background—an unpredictable. Textured with ribbed Perspex for a striking visual twist, it can however easily be replaced with plain Perspex refining the focus on her.
