During last years lockdown I was painting a very large detailed portrait and felt I had to put a pause on that to go freestyle. The strange thing was I hit the canvas up not knowing what was going to happen (normally I have a bit of a plan) and this guy showed up! At first glance the guy may seem threatening and intimidating, he is however, to me, a symbol of strength and hope in what was such an uncertain time. Titled - 2020
