Alyssa’s portrait was completed in just over eight months, working on it almost daily, the longest time I’ve spent on any of my works. With nearly 250,000 individual pixels, 16x16 (256 dots) per 5cm—many of which were painted multiple times—this artwork took dedication! Creating this portrait was filled with exciting challenges and experiments, it started with a dark metallic background I built the portrait up over the top.
